Islam and Creation.

Book pages.

Hello sir,
I'm from Pakistan and studying of an MBA degree. Our religion, ISLAM, says that GOD created this universe in seven days. am. My question is, What does your BIBLE says about this?

I am happy to tell you that the Bible and Islamic teaching are totally in harmony on this issue. The first book of the Bible, Genesis, states that at the end of creation week:

(Genesis 1:31-2:3, NIV):
'God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning - the sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.'

Beyond that, the Bible states that God is the One who is the Creator - and it is all under His control:

Colossians 1:16, NIV:
'For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.'

I hope that this is of help to you. It is certainly what I believe. I am pleased to know that GOD is in control.
